ABOUT US

EUROPIPE is the world market leader in the production of large-diameter pipes for oil and gas pipelines. Speciality of EUROPIPE's large-diameter pipe production are welded steel pipes for extreme demands in lengths of up to 18.3 metres. Our pipes withstand the desert heat, the artic cold and the depths of the world’s oceans.
 
Our shareholders Aktien-Gesellschaft der Dillinger Hüttenwerke and Salzgitter Mannesmann GmbH guarantee long-term structural stability. The EUROPIPE Group owns five production lines at four sites in Germany, France and the USA. Our Mülheim works is the world’s highest-performance large-diameter pipe production facility by far. Our head office is in Mülheim as well.

I love going into details and the combination of analysis, planning and reporting is the perfect job for me. I joined Mannesmann in 1996 as an energy electronics trainee and studied for a university entrance qualification alongside my job. After two years at work, I completed my civil service (alternative to military service), came back to work and became a father. Quite an extensive set!

Evidently I am a man for major challenges because in 2003, while doing shift work, I began to study for an industrial engineering degree. For many years, I led a three-shift life: as a father, in my career and as a student. I joined EUROPIPE in September 2008. Remarkable – for the first months after joining I was able to settle down and write my degree thesis in peace. That was an absolute blessing!

Today, I work as a graduate engineer in the order center. I am glad to make such good use of my opportunities and to have found in EUROPIPE an employer who supports and encourages my professional development.
